Participants included representatives from the Vientiane healthcare department, various hospitals, community health service organizations, CHIAS, and donor organizations such as FHI 360. The diverse group brought together a wealth of knowledge and experience, which was instrumental in generating constructive dialogue about the current state of HIV services and the needs of the community.

A key focus of the workshop was the design and development of CLM tools, as well as exploring the potential to integrate these tools with those used in the EPIC projects to enhance the Hansa2 projects. This integration aims to create a cohesive framework for monitoring and evaluating HIV services, ensuring that they are effective and responsive to the needs of the communities they serve.

Throughout the meeting, participants engaged in collaborative discussions, sharing insights on best practices, challenges faced in service delivery, and innovative approaches to community-led monitoring. The workshop emphasized the importance of leveraging existing tools and experiences to improve the overall quality of HIV services.

By the end of the meeting, participants had identified key areas for action and collaboration, setting the stage for future initiatives that would enhance the effectiveness of HIV services in Laos.
